A formal advisory relationship is established only through a signed engagement letter.

Engagements and services

Any advisory, fractional CFO, or consulting services we provide are governed by a separate written engagement agreement between 1610 Advisory and the client. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and an engagement agreement, the engagement agreement controls for matters relating to that engagement.

Intellectual property

The Site and its content (including text, graphics, logos, and design) are owned by 1610 Solutions LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may view and share the Site for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from any portion of the Site without our prior written permission.

Submissions

If you submit information through the Site (for example, via our contact form), you represent that you are authorized to share it and that it is accurate. We treat submissions in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 1610 Solutions LLC and its owners, employees, and contractors from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the Site or violation of these Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The exclusive venue for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be the state or federal courts located in Lancaster County, Nebraska, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective” date above indicates when they were last revised. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
